What got you interested in tattooing?

I was always intrigued by the stories our skin can tell and art in general as a healing modality. My background is Thai so I first started looking into the tattoos done by monks in Thai temples as a form of talisman and my interest grew from there. There’s such a rich history of tattooing and for a wide variety of purposes across many cultures. Each tattoo has the ability to tell such a unique story and represent specific stages of our lives.

What styles do you do?

I enjoy detailed art, from more graphic styles to realism. Lots of clean, flowing lines. Light and shade. I work with various media and am still discovering how this will tie into tattooing specifically. I look forward to learning different styles and techniques for a more well-rounded approach before limiting myself to specific styles.

What would you like to ask a tattoo artist if you were the client?

Probably everything. I’d be a fussy client. But you wanna be confident in who you choose right?

What do you do when you are not in the studio?

Toddler wrangling. Beach. Music. Yoga. Hanging with my animal fam. Painting. Writing.
